Request
A sales proposal for Dollar Shave Club’s upcoming Father’s Day sales event. In an effort to capture the attention of potential buyers, I wanted to take advantage of the interactive format by allowing consumers to engage with the razor while spending more time learning about the brand and the promotions offered during the Father’s Day and Mother’s Day sales events.

The Action
I designed and developed an interactive shaver concept that uses a masking effect to replicate the shaving experience. I also included a timer to ensure the end-screen offer is still seen in case the shaving interaction takes too long.
While I originally envisioned the concept as a facial shaving experience, I knew it could be reused for other promotions. The leg-shaving version demonstrates how the same core idea could be slightly reworked to expand the product offering and reach a broader audience.

Highlights
The concept created an engaging way for consumers to interact directly with the product while learning more about the brand and seasonal promotion. I designed and developed the shaving interaction using a masking effect to simulate the experience, while also adding a timed transition to make sure the final offer was always seen. The idea was built to be flexible from the start, allowing the same core interaction to be adapted for other products and promotions, including a leg-shaving version that expanded the concept beyond the original facial shaving experience.
